Is the ASX 200 a good investment?

The ASX 200 has been around for 21 years and was originally established in April of 2000. It has been an excellent index for more than two decades and provides investors with exposure to hundreds of Australia’s best companies. Investors should always be prepared for companies to be added or removed at the beginning of a new economic quarter.

Does the S&P/ASX 200 Index include dividends?

Since inception, the index has returned 3.73% p.a. excluding dividends and 8.14% including dividends (June 2024). The S&P/ASX 200 Index does not include dividends.
